Some jobs can be produced in minutes and others can take days. Give us your time line and we will let you know if it can be done in your time frame, depending on the processes involved. We take our relationship with you seriously and will always go to great lengths to meet your needs, if possible.
- What is a "proof"?
A proof is a way for you to see what your project will look like. It is your assurance that the type and all the elements of your job are accurate and positioned according to your directives. You can view your proof online or printed out on paper, which can be delivered to you or see on-site in our shop.
On multiple color jobs, we can produce a color proof on our color output device to show you how the different colors will appear.
- Why do I need to look at a proof if I've already given you everything I need to have done?
The answer is simple - to avoid human or mechanical error. It is your assurance nothing “slipped through the cracks” or is out of position. Your approval on the final proof is essential to confirm every aspect of our work is correct. It benefits you to confirm there are no errors or to catch them in the proofing process, rather than after the job is completed and delivered.
- Do I still need to approve a proof if I bring my work in on disk?
It may seem like a proof would not be necessary in this case, but it really is. Output devices process digital information using a variety of processing languages. Your approval of the proof we provide assure you the output device used correctly interpreted and processed the information you provided on your disk.
